What that means in practice

Some calculator pages show an offer block after the results. It may link to lenders or loan marketplaces (for consolidation loans), credit card comparison sites (for balance transfers), budgeting apps, credit monitoring services, or international money transfer services. If you click one of those links and then open an account, take a loan, or subscribe, the partner may pay DebtAx a referral fee. You pay nothing extra.

What it never changes

• The math. Every calculation uses the same engine whether or not an offer is shown, and the methodology page documents it fully.
• Whether an offer appears. Offers are shown only when the calculated result suggests the product could save you money on the numbers you entered, and the offer text always states that computed figure. If the math says a consolidation loan would cost you more, no loan offer is shown.
• The ranking. Alternatives are ranked by total cost to you, not by what pays DebtAx.

What is never promoted

DebtAx does not accept or display offers from debt settlement or debt relief companies, and does not recommend stopping payments to negotiate settlements. Where the numbers indicate real hardship, the site points to nonprofit credit counseling instead, with no affiliate relationship.

Partners

Partner links are set by the site operator in a single configuration file and may change over time. When a partner link is active it is marked with a sponsored attribute so search engines and browsers can identify it. When no partner is active for a slot, the site shows a link to a relevant guide instead.
