About DebtAx
DebtAx is a small set of debt payoff calculators built around one idea: you should be able to see every number, every assumption, and every alternative before you decide how to pay off what you owe.
What DebtAx does
You enter your debts once. The site runs them through the snowball and avalanche orders, checks whether a consolidation loan or a 0% balance transfer would cost less at the same monthly outlay, and ranks the options by total cost. It writes the result in plain sentences, draws the balance over time, and gives you a month-by-month schedule. Every page on the site uses the same engine, and the methodology page documents it fully.
What DebtAx is not
DebtAx is not a lender, a credit counselor, a debt settlement company, or a financial advisor. It does not have accounts, does not store what you enter, and does not sell leads. It never asks for account numbers, Social Security numbers, or credit scores; the optional credit range is a self-reported band used only to pick a realistic rate assumption.
How the site is funded
Some pages show links to lenders, card comparison sites, budgeting apps, or money transfer services. If you open an account or take a loan through one of those links, DebtAx may earn a commission. That never changes the calculations, and offers are shown only when the math suggests the product could save you money on the numbers you entered. Details are on the affiliate disclosure page. Debt settlement and debt relief companies are never promoted here.
